Opa's Ursa Pens

Mukwonago, a nearby town is a Native American word for 'the place of the bear.' My Ursa pens are indirectly named after Mukwonago.

Ursa pens reflect the majesty and power of the bear.  They are a line of larger ball point pens that are well balanced and easy to write with. Available in a variety of platings, they can be combined with any type of acrylic or wooden blank to make a pen that is uniquely yours.

This pen style lends itself more than any other to the corn cob pens.

I often take the standard pen parts and modify them to reduce the amount of black enamel on the pen. This lengthens the wood on both the upper and lower barrels of the pen and gives it a more streamlined look.
