For her birthday, my youngest daughter wanted a set of salt and pepper mills. I selected some walnut and cherry to make them out of.
Normally. I don't go in much for the coves and beads and ogees, but I turned the walnut mill, and then it became a challange to see if I could turn the cherry mill to match.
The walnut mill is the pepper mill and the cherry mill is for salt. they are approximately 6 inches high. The finish is several coats of wipe-on poly and buffed.
